Castor Oil

At some point in time, a spoonful of castor oil, derived from pressing the seeds of the castor plant, was a grandmother’s cure for anything that might ail you, from poor digestion to muscle aches. The golden oil in its raw form didn’t taste so good, but back then few medicines did. Today it is more commonly appreciated in beauty.
